Website Security 101

Most people do not pay attention to website security until their website is hacked. A few people go to find a solution and look for a security service, and the majority ignore it. They just re-upload a backup and when the home page is up, they think they have solved the problem.

How to find out if our website is vulnerable or not?

  1. Check the system error logs regularly
  2. Check error_log file in the /public_html regularly
  3. Make sure there is no error in your codes. If your codes are error-free, the error_log file size must be 0 (empty). If not, either fix the errors or ask an expert to fix them for you.
